I’m an experienced and highly trained psychologist who believes in applying psychological knowledge to move society, individuals, and communities forward.

There is no denying that psychological science and practice have been used as tools of oppression and othering, from the early dismissals of so-called “hysterical women” to conversion therapies aimed at changing people’s sexual attractions or gender identities/expressions. Despite this history, those of us working in the field of psychology today have the potential to facilitate powerful healing, liberation, wellness, and resistance. At its core, psychology is the exploration of people’s internal experiences and the ways these are impacted by and in turn impact external experiences. I am proud and excited to use psychology to promote mental health and challenge oppression.
